Molly Goodnight

Regular price $110.00 Sale

I was moved to create this necklace after learning the story of Molly Goodnight. In 1878, Buffalo herds were decimated by reckless hunters. Molly was a ranch wife in Texas and began rescuing and bottle feeding the orphaned calves. These rescues grew into the Midnight herd and considered foundational to the survival of the Southern Plains bison.

This handbeaded image of Molly and rescue is paired with a genuine Buffalo nickel. They’re suspended from a 16” dual chain of brass and silver plate with a 2” extender.

One of a kind.
